This fruity drink dates all the way back to 1920s France but has mysterious origins. It is said that bartender Frank Meier invented this cocktail at the Ritz Hotel in Paris in 1925. While there is no evidence that he was the first ever to mix equal parts juice and wine, Mimosas have become a brunch staple across the globe! The namesake for this vibrant orange drink is the colorful flower of the same name native to Central and South America.
